ART FAZIL/ // (S'pore)

Art Fazil was the founding member of Rausyanfikir, the folk trio that presented the industry with alternative ethno-folk-rock-pop music combined with socially conscious lyrics.
The band went on to produce two critically acclaimed albums.

In 1990, Art was signed as a songwriter with Warner Music Publishing (Singapore) , actively writing for regional acts in both English and Malay languages. In 1993 Art was signed to Pony Canyon Records (Singapore) as a solo artiste.
In between those two Malay albums, Art recorded the eponymous album of self–penned
English songs. The album produced two top ten hits in the Singapore Perfect 10 Charts, Sometimes When I Feel Blue (No.2) and Everybodyelse (No. 4). That year Art also won the COMPASS Best English Song 1995 award. Followed by COMPASS Best Malay Song 1997

In the same year, he also won the Tympnali Songwriter’s Competition (held as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) in August 1997.

Art moved to the United Kingdom in 1995 and focused on writing and performing in the British music singer/songwriter acoustic music circuit. Art travelled and performed extensively in England, Scotland and Wales club circuit with a brief stint in Istanbul, Turkey in between.
He has played at various venues all over the country including the world famous The Kashmir Klub, The Regal Room, The Twelve Bar Club, Bungies, Moles (Bath), Penny Theatre (Cantebury), Edinburgh Fringe Festival etc

DADANG PRANOTO/ // / (Bali)

Dadang SH Pranoto was born and raised in Bali, Indonesia. Until now, he has been writing songs and performing live for the past two decades in many projects.

Navicula

His first project was born in 1996 under the name „Navicula“ and since that time, Dadang as a lead guitarist with another 3 members became one of the most influental grunge rock band in Indonesia. In 2013, the band attend the music festival in Sydney, Australia, in 2012 Macadam Festival in Quebec, Canada; and in the same year they made the Navicula Tour around America and became a winner of the inaugural RØDE Rocks competition, they descended on LA alongside producers Alain Johannes, John Merchant and Francis Buckley and recorded their 7th album „Love Bombs“ at the infamous Record Plant studios in Hollywood. They are known by nickname „Green Grunge
Gentlemen“ because of their activist approach to Indonesian´s rainforests and this campaign has
been presented in American tour as well. According to Rolling Stone Magazine Indonesia they were subscribed to the best 10 albums in year 2015.

A year 2016 is very important for the band, since they are having their 20-years anniversary. To
celebrate this success, they are planning on creating their 9th album.

Dialog Dini Hari
The second project was created from Dadang´s deep love to blues and folk music. As a vocalist and guitarist he performs and creates music with the trio „Dialog Dini Hari“ since 2006. In 2014, their music was awarded by Rolling Stone Magazine Indonesia as the best folk album in Indonesia. The band is preparing their first trip to the music festival in Fukuoka, Japan.

A Conscious Coup/ // /

Psychedelic blues duo „A Conscious Coup“ was born a few years ago in Bali, Indonesia and consists of Dadang SH Pranoto (vocal, guitar) and Adam Felton from Australia (drums). The year 2015 has been subscribed as one of their successful year- they released their first EP album named „Perpetual“, grabbed a tour along West Australia together with a famous Australian band Tijuana Cartel and they also composed the music for a documentary movie created by the American director Nathan Mayers.

Their music was presented in Europe by plants of shows of Dadang SH Pranoto himself, who had
been invited as one of world´s artists and musicians within Climate Change Conference in Paris in the end of last year 2015.
In the meantime, the band is working on a new album and a film project, they are also preparing for the blues festival in Byron Bay, Australia.
